Mastery of information literacy skills equips librarians to effectively navigate ever-growing information landscapes. Promoting these skills to students and researchers assists in improved ability to utilize reliable and best-fitresources for research. In this course, you will gain foundational knowledge on scientific literacy principles, techniques for leading change to improve research skills, and resources for creating your own curricula.
This course consists of one module and a collection of reference materials.
After completing the course you will be able to:

- Describe how a librarian can drive improved research practices
- Describe multiple ways to teach science literacy
